The verdict on the bedtime hot toddy was - "maybe".
Today was a bleak, overcast and rainy day. We travelled from Dunfermline to Dumfries. We followed the coast road. The ocean looked rough, cold and very uninviting.
This will be hard to believe that not one picture was taken yesterday. Both Barry and Peter shared the driving and the roads are, in general, well marked and in average/good condition. It does help to have an excellent map and a nav man.
Our hotel The Cairndale Hotel and Leisure Club is characteristically 'old world charm' and last night our meal was delicious and we had the pleasure of a talented piano player.
